Macmillan Children’s Books has acquired Mumnesia, a new middle-grade title by Kate Dale.
Editor Rachel Kellehar bought world rights in a two-book deal for the book, which is about a 12-year-old girl whose Mum starts to behave like a teenager, from Jenny Savill at Andrew Nurnberg Associates,
She said: “Katie’s writing is fantastic and we are immensely excited about the prospect of having her on our list and bringing her hilarious writing to middle grade readers (with irritating parents!) all over the world.”
