Toni Sands – Observer, Writer, Dreamer

Describe who you are/what you do in 3 words or less: Observer, writer, dreamer

What is your guilty pleasure?: Luxury chocolate

What was your most embarrassing moment?: When I worked for Butlins I was once asked to stand in for a Redcoat in the ballroom Good- night routine. Dressed in white skirt and red blazer and standing in line with everyone, I started off by kicking out the wrong foot…

Where is the most unusual place you’ve had sex?: In an aeroplane cockpit (no pun intended) but while the aircraft was on the ground.

If you were stuck on a desert island, who would you want to be with?: An expert in survival. If that’s too predictable then Rufus Sewell because Julie Cohen will kill me if I choose Benedict Cumberbatch.

What’s the best thing that’s happened to you in the last 12 months?: Without a doubt, signing the contract with Xcite Books for my novel, Orchid Pink. Apart from the excitement of publicising it, I’m now a full member of the Romantic Novelists’ Association – yay!

  1. I’m looking forwards even more to reading Orchid Pink now I’ve read Toni’s interview. Exactly how…. no, never mind, it’ll keep until we catch up!

  2. Congratulations on Pink Orchid. I have two pink orchids in my bathroom – is this significant in any way?

  3. It might prove to be too much information, Chris! Hope you enjoy Orchid Pink and thanks for comment.
