Quirky Facts


Some quirky facts…

  • The proverbial rolling stone – I’ve lived in the United States, France, Bali and the Middle East but was born in Godalming, Surrey
  • I set up Accent Press in my spare bedroom in June 2003 after completing an MA in Creative Writing
  • Our triplets are the result of our first attempt at IVF
  • I adore The Archers
  • On February 14th 2007 I was invited to meet the Queen at Buckingham Palace – it was the same day we launched Xcite Books
  •  When I was 15 I was hospitalized for 6 months with severe depression – life has got much better since!
  • I originally trained as a Silversmith and Gemologist and have also worked in retail, recruitment and run a French wine business
  • Our books have featured in numerous bestseller charts and are sold throughout the world
  • My husbands have both been called Robert (but I was only married to one at a time!)
